Meet Katrice Shorter, a Food & Lifestyle content creator .

Meet Katrice Shorter, a Food & Lifestyle content creator based in Jacksonville, FL. She creates fun, engaging, and informative content on Instagram, TikTok, and her personal website, High Heels and Good Meals. Katrice is an avid supporter of the local community and advocates for supporting small businesses. As a micro-influencer and official Visit Jacksonville ambassador, she provides individuals with information about the best, The River City has to offer from dining, lodging, and entertaining.

Her brand, High Heels and Good Meals has been a creative outlet for her to share all of the things she loves, from personal style that’s budget-friendly, trendy, and chic to her passion for food from the recipe, creation, and restaurant reviews. You can find these experiences on her blog and on social media. Throughout the years, Katrice has become a very reputable source for great happenings around Jacksonville and beyond.

Katrice originally started solely as a fashion and food blogger. She wanted her blog to be inspirational to teachers who needed styling tips for work and easy meals to make during the week after those tedious days in the classroom. Since then, her brand has evolved and expanded across the city of Jacksonville and beyond. Katrice shared with us, “I am still providing a service for others and it has truly been a fulfillment I never knew I needed. I truly love helping others with their brand awareness, especially small and/or local businesses.”

Katrice came to Wells and Co she wanted to update her media kit but didn’t have the type of professional images that could help her accomplish her goals. The media kit Katrice had prior to the personal brand shoot, felt very basic and elementary to her. “I didn’t feel I could confidently use it when pitching ideas to larger brands I was interested in working with.”

“After getting my images, the headshots and branding images truly helped elevate my media kit the way I had envisioned and hoped they would. By incorporating my professional images into my updated media kit I was able to land a couple partnerships I really wanted. I’m looking forward to pitching more brands now that my media kit looks so professional!”
